In the Kitchen- Real Food Basics Review

Today I'm excited to bring you a review of a wonderful e-book written by the Modern Alternative Mama. Her book is called In the Kitchen- Real Food Basics.

If you're just putting your toes in the water of eating real food this book is for you! It's a quick and easy read yet full of information. She starts her book out by telling your her story of why she made the switch to real food. I love reading the testimonials of people whose families are finding healing in changing their diets so I found it inspiring.

Modern Alternative Mama gives you straight facts that explain why we should eat a real food diet. She sets the record straight on some of the big lies that we've been fed by the USDA such as consuming Real dairy, Grains and the Food Pyramid, and Fats. What I really liked is that it is easy to understand and she explains why she feels the way she does.

In the Kitchen also contains tips on where to find real food and a list of top 20 things that you can start working on. There is also recipes on how to make chicken stock and how to soak your grains.

The recipe section is great. I especially love that the recipes don't call for any weird ingredients and are things you could find in a local grocery store. They are also affordable which is a plus since so many people think eating real food is so expensive.

I would recommend this book to anybody who is looking for a quick and easy read on how to transition into eating and cooking real food.
