Preparing for Our No Spend Challenge

We're gearing up for a No Spend Challenge for the month of July and today I've been spending time looking at our budget. We have finally decided as a family to cut the satellite bill. We have signed up for Netflix though. We started our free trial today- we won't continue it unless it's a good fit for our family.

I've also cleaned out the freezers to see exactly what meat and veggies we have. We're going to be eating from our pantry and garden this month. I will have to buy fruit but that should be about it.

We are looking at all of our bills to see what we really need and what we "want"- we're tired of money leaking out!! It's time for a change!

Are you doing anything to prepare for the spending freeze?

Netflix was our choice two yrs. ago when deciding on t.v. options. We can pull up any movie or t.v. show we want to watch without the comercials or wondering when it's playing. We just order it or watch it on instant play. My kids are very into Liberty Kids right now. I love that their favorite cartoon is based on Historical fact and that we can pull it up whenever we want.
