What I'm Thankful For

Sometimes I catch myself complaining about all that I've been given. I whine about the messes my family leaves for me to clean up. I complain about "how hard I work" teaching these kids all day and how no one appreciates how much I do! Today in the midst of the craziness of the day I saw some moments that brought tears to my eyes...

My four girls playing ring-a-round the rosie and giggling.

My almost 11 year old playing ball with our 18 month old.

Hugs and giggles between my oldest and youngest.

Our four year old taking the time to play with her baby sister.

My almost 11 year old sitting down beside me and putting his head on my shoulder just because he needed a snuggle.

The thankfulness of my children over homemade kettle corn...I burnt it but they loved that I tried to make it.

And my son is thankful for flushing toilets...and I must admit I am too!!

I am thankful for family also, the most important thing. Enjoy your five little blessings this holiday season.
