Homemade Deodorant

I do a lot of research on many topics, and one of my favorite right now is how not only to live more frugally but also a more healthy lifestyle. One of the things I found was that there is aluminum in deodorant. Aluminum is really not good for you and I don't think that rubbing it in on your lymph nodes in your arm pits is a good thing. I saw quite a few different recipes for this but I decided I wanted to really make mine cheap. Here's what I did-

I mixed aluminum free baking soda and cornstarch together in a small container. I used a new make up sponge to put it on...so far I'm smelling good and not sweating at all. I'm actually very pleased with the switch. It's also freeing to know that I now have one more thing I can cross of my Walmart list!!

Have you ever tried homemade deodorant? If so what did you think?
