Weekly Wrap Up

It's Friday and time for another Weekly Wrap up over at Getting Ahead here is how my week broke down.

We spent a lot of time in the garden weeding, planting, and digging. I'm tired at the end of each day but it's a good tired. I know I've accomplished a lot each day.

We didn't eat out all week and when we needed bread or buns I made them from scratch. I also made homemade granola bars and they were awesome! I'll be doing some more baking this weekend before a small heat wave comes.

We had two days of no driving and one day of driving only 5 minutes away.

I made what I hope will be my only trip to Walmart this month and spent $60 for various household needs and grocery needs.

I'm in the thick of our I wanna be a homesteader challenge and am really enjoying it. Most nights I'm too tired to even read a book, but that's okay I know I'm saving money towards our dream.

thank you for visiting my blog the other day, I did get to have fun tripple cuponing at kroger this week. I like your blog and saved it in my favorites.
I would like to participate in your homestead challenge (even though I already live in the country). I have fallen off the wagon lately with my frugal efforts, which is very easy to do. Right now my husbands hours are low so I need to be frugal more than ever. This just might be the motivation I needed.
