I learned something today...when an angel food cake calls for cake flour, you really need cake flour not all purpose flour. Today was my first attempt at a chocolate angel food cake and I followed the directions except for the cake flour...it really wasn't a very nice finished product. Unfortunately it went to our trash can.
Bummer...now I know I need to keep cake flour on hand. I love chocolate angel food cake and have only found them in a farmer's market for $5 each. I will get this right!!
