One of the ways we're making our low budget Christmas special is by making memories that don't cost a thing. A tradition that was passed down to me is watching Christmas specials on tv. I'm a firm believer that it's only special if we watch it on tv--renting a dvd just isn't the same thing!! So, last night found us snuggled on the couches, eating homemade caramel corn, and watching Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer.
Today we awoke to magical December 1 snow. My girls have already been outside walking around and this afternoon will find me making homemade doughnuts. It's our tradition to make homemade doughnuts on the first snowfall.
