Friendship and Saving Money

Our family has been slowly making a transition into a homestead lifestyle. Unfortunately we're in the city right now and in a rental so there are several things we are unable to do. However, we have been able to make a start. This year we've expanded our garden by double. It's been a lot of work but hopefully we'll be rewarded later this summer with tons of fresh produce. We're also raising a very small flock of meat chickens. It's been a learning process all the way and I'm thankful for friends who raise most of their own meat to show us how to do it!!! We've saved money by asking questions, borrowing certain items, and buying feed in bulk with them. It's a wonderful adventure raising our own veggies and meat. I'm so grateful for friends who are willing to help us out and help us raise our products frugally!!!

Life as Mom for more frugal tips!

Frugal friends are the best. My best friend is frugal and I love her encouragement. She and I can talk hours about deals. Thanks for your unique post.
