Spring means buying home school curriculum at our home. I always get part of our tax return money to buy next year's home school curriculum. I have always used this money to buy our "dream" curriculum. I have been home schooling for almost 7 years and every year I "curriculum hop" I'm always on a quest to find the perfect home school curriculum. No matter what I've bought or used there is always something better. At least I always thought so.
This year we are working on saving $5000 and reducing our clutter. I don't think that home school curriculum is clutter unless...it just sits on your shelf unused. I have to admit that I have a lot of curriculum sitting on my shelves. There is no prize for owning the most curriculum!!!! I tell myself that over and over. This year I will be listening to that and I might tape it on my lap top so I can see it every day!!
Using curriculum we own works for me!!!

I just wrote about the same thing a couple of weeks ago! I agree with you; using curriculum you already have is smart. To me, its like you throw money away if you don't.
