This week I did my favorite kind of shopping. We had a home school Valentine's Day party yesterday and I bought 4 gallons of raw milk, 2 dozen pasture raised eggs, and three whole chickens pasture raised for a total of $50. I love knowing where my food comes from. I love it when we pick up our milk and get to pet the cow and see all the chickens who supply us with eggs. The best part is supporting others who believe that real food shouldn't cost an arm and a leg!!
Do you have a favorite place to buy real food?

We found a farmer very close to us that sells eggs. He has 65 chickens and sells these wonderfully fresh (still warm today!) eggs for $2 a dozen. You can't beat that. Makes us rethink whether we will get our own or not.
Hi,
I love our local Health Food Store. They have a farmers market every Saturday more and they also sell fresh produce inside.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
