- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar I use sucanat
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup margarine (melted) I use butter
- 1 egg
Directions

Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, milk, margarine and egg.2
Pour into a greased and floured 8 or 9 inch square pan.3
Sprinkle top heavily with sugar. (This gives a crusty top.).4
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

Autumn, thanks so much for posting this recipe! I made it yesterday and made it again today. All my kids don't necessarily like it, but that's okay. They are picky anyway. My oldest daughter and I love it and that's reason enough to make it :) I will be making it quite often since it is so easy to throw together. Oh, and I used applesauce in place of half the butter for less fat overall.
