Menu Plan Monday

Can you believe this is the last week of the year?!? Where has the time gone? We are making some changes menu in 2010. We will be eating a much more Real Food diet. We are also making our family goal of 2010 to give up eating out. Those two things means that I must plan out our meals each week!! Here's what we're having for the final week of 2009

Breakfast-
baked peanut butter oatmeal
waffles
muffins/fruit
baked french toast
pancakes/eggs
bacon/toast/hash browns
overnight cinnamon rolls

Lunch-
we always eat leftovers first and when those run out...

veggie soup
baked potato bar/grilled cheese
hamburgers/fries
chicken/fries

Dinner-
Chicken and dumplings/mashed potatoes/bread
meatloaf/potatoes/steamed veggies/bread
chili/baked potatoes
Finger foods with family for New Year's Eve
Carolina Pork/potatoes/veggies
Fend for yourself Sunday

Hi Autumn,
I am getting my family back on track too. I purged the kitchen yesterday. No more processed foods.
We don't eat out either.
Hugs,
Elizabeth

Funny you should mention "real food". I am reading IN Defense of Food right now and Pollan talks about not eating anything that won't rot when he talks about real food. If it won't go bad, it isn't real to begin with.

Good luck on not eating out. That would never work for me, although we do eat out rarely. We have settled on a good compromise though, we do Panera (organic) or Papa Johns (a more natural pizza place). I have been craving Panera lately, but I am waiting on my Mypoints giftcard to take the family for almost free. Happy New Year!
