Feeling Frugal

Lately my husband and I have been talking about a house...not just any house but our dream house... one that we could own. We don't make a lot of money. We don't have a lot of debt. However, we have little savings and some things that do need paid off. We need to be super frugal to achieve our goal. I need to constantly ask myself...do we need this or want this? Most of our money goes to buy things we want, not need. I hate to think of how much money we've wasted over the years.

I'm trying to kick off our September spending freeze with a list of things that make me feel frugal...here they are...

Hanging my laundry
Using cloth diapers and wipes
Making a pizza from scratch
Driving past Wendy's after a long day and coming home to cook
Avoiding the grocery store for two weeks
Using only two bags of trash a week for a family of seven!
Buying in bulk
Not looking at the ads in the newspapers
Driving past Goodwill and yard sales!!!

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in
it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit,
but other than that, this is fantastic blog.
An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
