Does your family love lunch meat but you hate to pay $6 or more a pound? Ham is at it's best price right now and here's how you can stock up on some cheap lunch meat. At our local Kroger they have boneless ham on sale for $.87 lb. ask at the meat counter for them to slice it (free) for you. If your store will slice it any way you want it have them slice it thin like lunch meat. Our local store will slice it as thin as 1/2in.

What a great idea. Do you know how long lunchmeat will keep in the freezer? If I did this I wouldn't need to buy any from the deli for awhile!
My mom does this too. She was just telling me about a deal on ham this week. Great tip!
I keep ours in the freezer for three months.
