Today's Shopping Trip

We had to buy soccer cleats for my daughter today, it pained me to pay full price. We have a whole tub full of hand-me-down cleats but none were her size!! Total for new cleats: $26.68

Cat food has really increased in price since the last time I bought a bag ( that was in August!) I need to check the prices in Newark and Westerville, we only have one pet food store here in town.
Total $41.00 for a 22lb bag

I was in dire need of trash bags so I stopped at CVS, the coupon printer wasn't working so my kids were bummed!! Here's what I bought there: 4 28ct boxes trash bags, 2 Rimmel Mascara ( both free!), 2 Sally Hansen Nail Polish for my daughter ( both free!!), Reinventing Beauty magazine $.99 Total: $18.00 cash

Walmart was the last trip of the day, we needed to buy some seeds for the garden and other gardening gear. I also bought a new Brita pitcher to save on buying bottled water! All the kids spent their allowance money on new toys. I also picked up five packs of foil.
Total: $65.00

Today was painful. I hate paying full price for anything. However, I won't need catfood for 8 months or trash bags for probably two months. The garden should pay for itself when it begins producing. The only upside was the only household need we have for a long time is diapers, I'm hoping for a great sale at CVS soon!!
