Today we picked up 22 broiler chicks. They are my sons 4-h project and our future dinner! This year we are on a mission to produce as much of our food as we can. I love being able to mark stuff off of my grocery list. I love knowing that right now we dont have to buy eggs from the grocery store. In the end of July we will be eating our own chickens. August will bring our own fresh raw milk.
