It's been a busy few days around the homestead. I'm gearing up and practicing many different gluten free baked goods to sell at our farmers market. We've also been busy in our gardens...our peas, lettuce, and carrots are growing well. Our strawberries and raspberries are also looking great. The garden plot that we share with our neighbor is plowed and just begging to be planted.
We also are going to be getting a rabbit. My oldest daughter is showing rabbits for 4-h this year. We picked out the bunny last night and will be bringing her home in the next week.
I'm stretching our budget as far as possible to save some money. We're currently living as if we've already moved. Our dream homestead will stretch us financially so we're going to see if we can afford it by living as if we already moved.
