We use cloth diapers on our youngest and when we first started looking into them I noticed that every site sold cloth wipes. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I decided to use old wash clothes. I checked thrift stores, yard sales, and friends. I ended up with a ton of wash clothes for less than the cost of a pack of cloth wipes.

This may seem like a lame question...but
where do you store them? how do you use them? Do you keep them wet and in a baby wipes container on a changing table? I ahve a pile of wash cloths and am CDing my 4th and 5th chidlren and have yet to figure out a good system:)
I loved cloth wipes!! We have since made some to use as handkerchiefs by cutting up old cotton knit clothes like T-shirts; they're very soft and the edges don't ravel, so no need for hemming.
Kathy, we stored the cloth wipes in a basket on the changing table and moistened them with water from a bottle with pop-up spout. Click my name for more details about that and our diapering method in general.
