Menu Plan Monday

We're still plugging away at our no more eating out in 2010 challenge. We had a couple of close calls but I'm trying to stay the course. Yesterdays lunch was french fries and mac and cheese. Tonight we had pancakes. The kids seem to be enjoying the variety of dinners though! Here's what's cooking at our house this week.

Breakfast-
pancakes
waffles
baked peanut butter oatmeal
snicker doodle coffee cake
muffins
baked french toast
bacon/eggs/toast

Lunch- leftovers or
bread sticks and dipping sauce
pasta/salad
chicken tenders/fries
sloppy joe/veggies

Dinner
sweet and spicy herbed chicken/rice/broccoli
flank steak/cheesy ranch mashed potato/salad
chicken and dumplings/mashed potatoes/bread
beef and noodles/peas
homemade Stromboli
chili
pot roast/carrots/potato/rolls

You can do it! YOu are doing great so far and the longer you do it the easier it will be. Keep some quick meal ingredients on hand for times you don't want to cook. That always saves me.

Delicious! I think it's a wonderful variety and several "fun" meals. :)
We're really trying to avoid getting a Hot & Ready, but we did fail this past weekend. My sinus infection left me in no mood to cook. Fortunately one still covers our family's dinner, so it was only $5. (Little Caesars is 3 houses down from us).

Do you have the recipe for the peanut butter oatmeal online? That sounds perfect for my boys!

Have a great week! :)
