Weekly Wrap Up

I'm participating in Jennifer's weekly wrap up at www.getting-ahead.blogspot.com . Check out her blog for more getting ahead posts.

Here's how my frugal week went!
Meijer savings $148.00 not all of this was food, they were having an awesome clearance sale and I spent $30 on clothes for our baby and our seven year old! I also spent $25.00 on food.

I used a free boost kids coupon, free del monte no salt added tomato coupon, free baking mix coupon at Kroger. I also got five packs of Tuna for free after my $1 coupons.

We were without power for about 15 hours so that saved some electricity. I also hung out three loads of clothes to dry.

I asked my son for his opinion on some home school choices which hopefully will save time and money next year since he helped choose them he'll have to use them!!

I'm also making my list for next year's needs for our home school and really planning on what we need and a few wants to hopefully make it a great year.

How was your frugal week?

Sounds like a great week. Having your son help with the homeschool choices should really help.

Today I found your blog and I was lead here by your post on being a SAHM. I've read through every post you've written and I've learned a lot. My husband and I are considering my becoming a SAHM and I found your insight inspiring. I even wrote about you on my blog. I'd love to know more about your spending habits (insurance, vehicle, and home) since I am also a very frugal shopper and need more guidance when it comes to the major expenses. Thanks so much for boosting my confidence today! I've bookmarked your blog so I'll be back!

Wow that was odd. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn't appear. Grrrr... well I'm not writing all that over again.

Regardless, just wanted to say fantastic blog!
