Preparing Your Life for Back to Homeschool

This coming school year is bringing many new challenges: I'll be teaching all five our children, it's our first year milking goats, I'm babysitting three days a week, our local co-op meets weekly(!), my oldest three are all involved in different sports, and the list goes on and on. I'm quickly realizing that my old way of running our home won't work this year.

The first thing that needs to be tweaked is our morning/breakfast routine. My goal for myself is to be up and my chores done by 7:00 so that way I can get breakfast started in a timely fashion. I've been pretty lazy this summer with bedtimes and meal times so this is going to be a painful time of relearning for all of us.  Our new bedtimes are 9:00 pm for the kids (this seems so late, but we have softball and church a couple nights a week and don't get home till about then!) and 10:00 for me.
I like to let kids sleep till they naturally wake up but this year I'm going to have to force the wake up in a timely fashion so we can all eat breakfast together. My plan is wake up no later than 8:00 and finish chores by 8:30 and breakfast by 9:00.

I also need to get intentional about our meals again. I have just been lazy lately! I found a super cheap place to get gluten free cereal and it's become a staple in our home. Lunches have been slapped together at the last minute with no thought or love put into it. I'm currently working on a rotating breakfast/lunch menu plan that will NOT change and that I will follow!! I'm finalizing our fall schedule and then I will finish the meal plan.

Another thing that I used to do and I haven't lately is freezer cooking. I used to do a huge freezer cooking session before we started back to school. It made my life so much easier! I would do breakfast prep and an entire months (or more!) worth of dinners, so I could focus on getting back into the home school groove. I'm currently making a freezer cooking session plan which I'll share later this week.

Are there areas in your life that needs reorganized or reworked to fit a new season in your life? I'd love to hear any solutions you've found!

Hey there this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering
if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code
with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

I hardly leave a response, however i did some searching
and wound up here "Preparing Your Life for Back to Homeschool".

And I do have 2 questions for you if you usually do
not mind. Is it only me or does it give the impression like a few of these
remarks look like they are written by brain dead individuals?
:-P And, if you are writing on additional online sites, I'd like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Could you list of the complete urls of your public pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

I'm amazed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that's both educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have
hit the nail on the head. The problem is something
which too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I'm very happy I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several e-mails with the same comment.

Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Appreciate it!
